The Toxic 70’s is the project of Joey Torsney, currently living in Nahant. He has made very experimental music over the years, ranging from grunge to rap to a mixture of both. Recently, he put together a team of other musicians called “Sage Cult,” which has seen his music become even more experimental and strange.
Wave Goodbye is the project of Jack Downey, a Hingham native. Starting in June of 2018 as Sunset Demon, Jack began writing emotional, lofi songs, and after he had built up a large inventory of songs, he started playing shows. Aside from this project, Jack has also made music with dream pop band Friday Life and has worked with rock band The Fringe.
