Heirlooms and objects, both wondrous and mundane, have witnessed and encountered personal histories marked by time. The reclamation of inherited materials and objects can be tinged with nostalgia or recollection and reveal personal and universal perspectives of time. Gallery 263 invites artists based in the United States to submit to Hand Me Down, an exhibition that explores how artists document and enlist inherited or cultural materials and objects in their artwork.

Submission Deadline: This call for art is now closed.
Exhibition Dates: April 20–May 20, 2023
