STORYLINES Prospectus

Art functions beyond the sum of its physical presence, and serves as a method of storytelling. Artists today engage with narratives of identity, politics, and perspectives, both monumental and minuscule in scale. Symbolism can be embedded in everyday objects and materials, arranged, or fragmented to uncover layers of meanings to the viewer. Gallery 263 invites artists based in New England to submit artwork that tells stories of these overlooked narratives to STORYLINES, a regional exhibition juried by James Everett Stanley.

Submission Deadline: January 18 at 11:59 PM

Exhibition Dates: February 18–March 20, 2021
