A new act on the Boston singer-songwriter scene, Andrew DiMarzo is bringing a unique flavor for the public to taste. Citing influences from Martin Sexton, Bernhoft and Glen Hansard, Andrew draws inspiration from progressive rock, folk and soul music.
Beginning in March of 2013, Andrew began religiously attending open mics each week in the Boston area, where he eventually settled into a weekly rhythm at the Gulu Gulu Café in Salem, MA. After several months of building up his repertoire and gaining a strong level of comfort performing live, in November of 2013 Andrew finally went into the studio to record his 12-track debut album titled “Prayer”. Since then Andrew has been consistently gigging all throughout southern NH, eastern MA as well as Rhode Island occasionally. Having played around 40 venues with over 60 other artists Andrew has gained a sense of understanding that his heart shines loudest when he performs live.

Julia Mark grew up in semi-rural New Jersey listening to bebop greats and folk music legends. After several years of classical piano lessons, she began writing her own music as a student of the late jazz pianist, Eric Doney. She went on to major in music and psychology at Wesleyan University and has been performing as a singer/songwriter since moving to Boston in 2013.
Julia Mark’s music is optimistically dissonant and lyric-driven. Her songs cover a range of topics, including: dreaming trees, lucky coins, secret plans, and life on the moon. She plans to release her first EP in December of 2015. In September of 2015, Julia was the winner of the 16th Lizard Lounge Main Event.

Inspired by nature and story-telling, Donna Vatnick blends folk, jazz, bossa-nova, and acoustic styles into her original pieces. She has put out two albums to date, with the latest “Chronic Dreamer” having been released in August of 2015. Her first album “Ode to the Sea” was inspired by growing up on the North Shore of Massachusetts. For Donna rolling on the waves of change is always challenging; songwriting is a comforting companion for a wandering rower.
