EMERGE 2020: GRADUATING FINE ART STUDENTS OF NEW ENGLAND

Gallery 263 is pleased to announce EMERGE 2020: Graduating Fine Art Students of New England, a regional juried exhibition. This online show features the work of twenty artists who are graduating or expected to graduate from a New England-based fine arts program during this unprecedented time. Celebrating artistic innovation and thoughtful production, this exhibition features a range of media, including video, sound, painting, sculpture, and photography. This show was juried by the staff and board of Gallery 263.

Marla McLeod, interdicisplinary artist & recent graduate of SMFA at Tufts University MFA, dicusses her creative process and work during COVID-19. Her work can be seen online at the EMERGE 2020 Exhibition and displayed in the windows of Gallery 263 from June 1 – August 2020.

Gallery 263 advances the artistic endeavors of makers and performers, while fostering public engagement, enrichment, and exchange. Functioning as a creative nexus, Gallery 263 provides a contemporary voice for the arts in Cambridge and our regional communities.
