Gallery 263 is pleased to host the Cambridge Writing Collaborative, a new project designed to support and enrich the local writing community.  The CWC typically meets on Tuesday evenings between 6:30 and 8:30.

*NOTE: The Cambridge Writing Collaborative meetings are taking a break during the Summer 2016 Artist Residency ProgramPlease check back for updates about the Collaborative resuming Tuesday sessions.

Writers don’t always have to work alone.

The CWC provides a flexible, weekly meeting and working space for writers with some consistencies:

  • Time to do what you need (write/ submit to journals/ talk with other writers)
  • Feedback (workshop/ sharing starting around 7:30)
  • Dinner (home-cooked vegetarian fare)

Drop-in: 6:30-8:30, For: *Writing *Dinner *Sharing

The project is motivated by 1) the principle that writing is not solitary and 2) the reality that writers often don’t have access to a communal time and space for their work.

The tone and experience of the space will be dictated by those who come.

Come with a project you’re working on, or begin something new. For those of you who dig them, I’ll have prompts available to get you working.

Donations encouraged to defray the cost of meals and renting the gallery space.
